Terms and conditions of service
The reservation of Domus Octavia involves the acceptance of these rules in the terms and conditions below. The person who booked the apartment will respond personally, even for the other guests who go with him/her.
The lease is stipulated between Domus Ottavia, Via Ottaviano 32, 00192 Rome, and the guests of the house who will provide the following personal details upon check in by showing a valid ID: full name, date and place of birth, citizenshp, sex; only the person who booked the house will be asked the following data: type and number of the document, issuing authority.
The prices of the Domus Octavia include VAT and expenses related to the service. These may be subject to change without notice, but after confirmation of booking, the price is not changed and is guaranteed. The city tax is payable at the rate of Euro 3,50 per person per day of stay (only for the first 10 days and, in any case, only for guests over the age to 10 years).
The payment of this tax holiday will be made at check-in.
POLICY ON CHILDREN:
Children under 2 years do not pay.
Children below 10 years do not pay the city tax of the City of Rome. Children older than 10 years at the time of booking, should be considered and indicated in adults.
In the presence of infants Domus Octavia offers, after prior request, a cot (complete with sheets, blanket and pillow) and a high chair without further charge.
POLICY GUARANTEE / DEPOSIT / PAYMENT:
To obtain confirmation of the reservation, if you do not proceed directly to the purchase by credit card, it is essential to make the payment of 20% relative to the total of the reservation as a deposit, not refundable.
The online payment can be made by
- Credit card (through Paypal system interface) on the site www.domusottavia.com
- Credit Card by preauthorization pickup (via POS terminal of the Domus Octavia).
The balance of the total sum of the reservation must be paid in cash or by credit card (POS payment) at check-in.
CANCELLATION POLICY / MODIFICATION OF RESERVATION:
Unused nights for early departure to the date of check-out will not be refunded.
RECEPTION AND REGISTRATION OF PARTICIPANTS:
On their arrival, guests are required to show a valid ID at the property of the Domus Octavia or his appointee, to be able to check-in, so as required by law. Guests undertake to follow the instructions received during check-in.
CHECK-IN AND CHECK-OUT:
Upon check-in, at last one of the customers must be an adult (18 years); otherwise check in will not be possible. Time of check-in hours: from 2PM to 7 PM. We do not accept arrivals before 2 PM or later than 7 PM. The house must be vacated by 10AM on the day of check-out. Where possible, the Domus Octavia allow check-in / check-out at times other than those mentioned above but only if agreed beforehand.
The apartment Domus Octavia has a safe; however, the Domus Octavia is not responsible for the loss of cash, documents and valuables left in the apartment.
CLEANING / MAINTENANCE
The apartment is delivered clean and in perfect order. If necessary, the Property, or their representative, reserves the right to enter the apartment after having notified the guests, to perform maintenance, repair or any other unforeseen needs. Further extra cleaning service can be performed and paid separately at a cost of Euro 35 (with change of sheets and towels), provided that the request is made in advance to allow the organization of the service.
BEHAVIOR AND RESPONSIBILITY':
The person requesting the reservation is responsible for the proper and decent behavior of all guests staying in Domus Octavia. If one or more guests "behave in a non-acceptable way" (engage in behavior that contravene the laws of the Italian State, contrary to building regulations and / or cohabitation), the Domus Octavia can ask the guests to leave the apartment immediately without possibility of compensation for any unused nights. The apartment and all the rooms have been visited and checked by the property before arrival. The descriptions in the web pages are correct and compiled in good faith. In case of problems, the customer should immediately get in touch with the property (or their designee) and guests are obliged to grant the property (or their representative) the time required for the resolution of any problem.
With reference to art. 13 Law 196/03, please note that all data are collected for the sole purpose of providing the requested service. Such information could be communicated only to staff according to each activity and used exclusively for the purposes of the service provided. The information will be used electronically in accordance with applicable law.
